I finally made it to day 14 in my
Illustrated Faith You're Beautiful Devotional.
I really enjoyed doing this devotional.
I will be starting the new
July devotional I Am
Cultivate inner beauty, the gentle,
gracious kind that God delights in
1 Peter 3:4
You don't have to earn your value.
You already have value, and you're already loved.
Just as you are!
God thinks you are so beautiful today, tomorrow and in 25 years.
I always prep my pages with Dina Wakley clear Gesso to prevent bleed through on my pages.
This is just a personal preference for me.
I want to be able to do something on the other side with out worrying about whats on the opposite side.
I picked up some acrylic paint at Walmart to try out in my
(I couldn't find the one I used so linked to some different choices below)
Nothing fancy, but I like how pretty it is.
Daler Rowney Paints Used:
White, Black, Coeruleum Hue, Yellow Green
I put them on a plate and mixed them.
Then applied them with an old gift card by wiping them on.
The fonts I used are Magnolia Sky & MS PMincho.
I printed them backwards on copy paper and used a pencil scribbled on the back to transfer then to my page.
I then painted them in with the black paint and outlined some areas with white paint.
The flower stamps are from a Close to My Heart stamp set called Friendship Blessings.
I used Ranger Archival Jet black ink to stamp them.
I used a sharpie black fine point pen to underline my verses and make the arrow.
I hope you are having a wonderful day!
